Welcome to My World...

Well hello there, and welcome to my blog. Yes, I am a dog and no, of course I don't type it myself, my mum does that bit for me. I don't have fingers and thumbs, you see, and things could get very messy if I try. Plus, I have a very limited attention span.
So, my name is Max and I'm three years old. This blog will tell you what exciting things I get up to every day and maybe offer some words of wisdom, if I feel like it.
It's a Tuesday today, but that doesn't mean much to me. One day kind of merges in to another when you're a dog. Ask any dog. What does mean much to me is my morning walk. Although I can't tell the time, I know when it's morning because it's when my mum shouts that it's too early to get up when I pounce on the bed with a ball in my mouth, and tells me to go back to sleep. Ha! life's too short for that! I'm up and I want to go out in the field across the road. Mum says it's like having a toddler in the house again. I've no idea what one of those is.
Dad takes me out with my older brother, Pagan - he's a German Shepherd and HUGE! and my sister, Nelly, she's a terrier like me, and she's also the bossiest dog in the world and gets very cross with me if I want to play and she doesn't.
I told you I have a very limited attention span and this can be a problem when I'm out because curiosity often gets the better of me and I get distracted by things like other dogs or a bulrush growing in the river, or sometimes there are ducks in the river and I like to chase them because they have shorter legs than me and can't run as fast as I can. I get told off sometimes because I run off, but hey, life is short and there are so many brilliant things to do and see on my walks. It's no wonder I get distracted!
After my walk, I nap. I nap as often as possible, because I have short legs and they get tired. This is me napping after my walk today. Until next time, I'll leave you with my wise words: enjoy the moment, because it will be gone in another moment:)
Love Max
